A&O’s accelerated LPC with LLM qualification course
All future trainees, regardless of their degree, are required to take the A&O’s accelerated LPC with LLM qualification course. This bespoke, seven-month accelerated course has been designed to give you both the technical skills and the commercial awareness to be able to start working for our clients from your very first day at the firm.
If you have already completed the LLM with another provider, we will recognise these qualifications – and our preference is for LLM students to join an Allen & Overy office in the jurisdiction where they are qualified or qualifying into.
If you are an LLM student and would like to work in London, please check your eligibility for the relevant scheme and apply for a Vacation Scheme or Training Contract here.
If you have qualified as a lawyer outside of England and Wales and are looking to become a quasi-trainee with us, you may not need to do the LPC in order to qualify.
For further information about the QLTS process please visit the SRA website: www.sra.org.uk
Please note that even if you are eligible to apply for the QLTS, it is often our preference for you to take on the UK LPC route. Your options will be discussed with you at offer stage.
It’s time to find out what you’re made of. Click here to explore why you should join us at A&O.
