At Allen & Overy we are a lot more interested in what kind of lawyer you can become than what you have studied at university. Last year around half of our trainees studied subjects other than Law. This diversity of background and skill is vital for our business as the role of a lawyer evolves and our clients’ needs become ever more sophisticated. But whether you have studied Law or not, there are some fixed elements and some that we strongly recommend in your journey to joining us as a trainee, and ultimately to qualifying as a lawyer.

To understand every stage that you need to take, map your journey based on what you are studying and use the red numbered spots to navigate through the cycle.
