The Ellesmere Society 89th Annual Dinner Sponsored by Allen & Overy

The Ellesmere Society of Brasenose College, Oxford University, this year held its Annual Dinner on 13th November and is proud to hold Allen & Overy as its most generous sponsor. The society is comprised of the past and present law students of the college and its law fellows and tutors, who were joined by Nick Powell and Sarah Green, two representatives of the firm. The guest speaker of the night was Lord Brown of Eaton-under-Heywood, Justice of the Supreme Court, whose humorous anecdotes were greatly appreciated by everyone; as were the goodies donated by Allen & Overy! Overall the evening was a great success with a turnout of exactly 100 guests, a figure we hope to build on in the coming years. The Ellesmere Society thanks Allen & Overy for their continued support of the Dinner and looks forward to working with the firm again in the future.
