Study towards the bespoke Allen & Overy LPC

We provide the Allen & Overy LPC at The College of Law in London and all of our future trainees will study this before commencing their training contract with us in either September or March.  Our fee earners and training team have worked closely with The College of Law to develop a bespoke LPC that reflects the particular requirements of a legal career in the City and which features materials based on real examples of the transactions we do at A&O.  The modules you will take focus on our core practice areas (Corporate, Banking and International Capital Markets) to ensure your time at law school provides the best possible preparation for your training contract with us.

Taking the A&O LPC means you will also develop strong bonds with your new colleagues and build friendships from day one. Some of the initial classes will be shared with future trainees from other firms to enable you to expand your network. In addition, you will also attend lectures and seminars delivered by our lawyers, in our offices at One Bishops Square and 40 Bank Street, enabling you to build links beyond your trainee cohort and get a feel for how we approach our work.

From the moment you accept your offer with us, you are part of the team. We keep in regular contact with you not only throughout Law School but also if you take time out to travel or pursue further study,  offering you support and keeping you up-to-date with what's happening at A&O.

For more details on financial support during your LPC, please see our rewards and benefits section.

"We are delighted to have worked with the College of Law in producing the A&O-tailored Legal Practice Course.  The course introduces our future lawyers to the type of work we do here, and gives them a feel for the way we go about doing it.  I believe this will be invaluable to them as trainees and give them a head start in their legal careers."
