You will have two interviews with us, both on the same day.  The first interview will explore your application in more detail.  We will look for evidence of teamwork, communication skills and planning and organising, as well as discussing your reasons for wanting to become a commercial solicitor. You will then be given a business case study to review.  You will need to go through this document as if you were advising a client and should pick out the points most relevant to them.  After your preparation time you will have a second interview with a partner.  For the first 10 minutes you will talk them through your findings from the case study, you will then discuss the points you raised.  After your interviews you will be given a tour of the office by a current trainee (this part of the day is not assessed) and feel free to ask any questions – we don't debrief our trainees.
