Bracton Law Society's Annual Winter Law Ball

On Wednesday 1st December 2010, Bickleigh Castle played host to the University of Exeter Bracton Law Society’s Annual Winter Law Ball, an elegant way for the members of the society to relax and enjoy an evening of sophisticated revelry. 

Following the champagne reception, in which the ladies and gentlemen in attendance regaled each other with tales of bygone evenings and in which they marvelled at the décor surrounding the historic home of the Earls of Devon, we dined on a delectable three course meal before retiring for coffee, tea, mince pies and a jaunt to the dance floor and bar.

In addition to the members of the society, Allen & Overy’s venerable Vedad Ramljak was present to enjoy the evening with us. The Bracton Law Society would like to thank Allen & Overy for its generous sponsorship and all the assistance we received, without which the ball would not have been possible.
